Hi Guys, thanks for the info on installing an overflow tank on my '76 small block. I'm not sure if I need a special rad cap or not... you know the kind with the arrow lined up with the overflow spout on the neck. The car is a nice cruiser now with new 600 Holley on a Edelbrock performer aluminum intake, new Mallory HEI distributer and leads, and a
set of Delta 40 flowmasters.. It's a L82, so it least it has 4 bolt mains if I want to go with aluminum heads and lumpier cam.
The last AC Delco GM official replacement radiator cap I bought... was made in India .. and it leaked right out of the box. I have been using a generic cap for years now. It might be a Stant. I do like it because it doesn't have any big logos on it. Doesn't look original, but doesn't scream "ugly" either.
dang! Guess I have had it for 8 years!! the picture link is dead
