I put Kenwood 6x9 two-ways behind the stock speaker covers in the back. Got the speakers from Ecklers.

Is the best place to put speakers straight on the back? The ones we tore out were angled ? I was hoping with modern technology speakers would be smaller and the sound bigger. Sounds like I will have to listen to a Kenwood. Thanks. Been years since i went car stereo shopping.
