Default headlight spring placement

I have been slowly fixing all of the little problems with my 72 now that i have a new engine and tranny. headlights would come up but slowly. When I started looking, each light only had one spring on it so I bought a kit. It came with two long ones and two short ones per side. which one goes where? I have been trying to find a picture of the spring placement but no luck. thanks.

Ok, so I am seeing that the two shorter fatter springs go on the outside?

I agree looks really nice.

I have a question and it's been awhile since I've been upside down looking up at the mechanism.
Looking at the pic I would have the tendency to want to install the 2 outboard springs 180 from how they are,not end for end but have the end of the hook pointing inward.
The AIM appears to have them just like the pic.
It looks like when installed it puts them at a slight angle in comparison to the other 2 springs ( not parallel). Not having one in front of me , will the springs rub each other ?

Hey Roger,
It sort of looks like they touch it in my photo but they do not rub or touch.

Works great, lights actually go up and down. Now I just need new relays to even up the opening and closing rate.
