Default I love sidepipes!!!!!!

As you could probably tell from the title I'm in love with my new sidepipes...I got the maxflow inserts in the hooker side tubes it sounds amazing almost like a Harley actualy they are a little louder but a good clean sound...I only have one question when I am decelerating I get a popping sound I looked it up and I've heard it's called back rap but I'm not sure is this normal or is something wrong...on a lighter note every stoplight I stopped at all eyes were on me and I got a few offers to race and one guy offered me his sister lol...and I already got my first burn I think I'm going to put some insulation rolled up next to the seat probably pin it under the sill moulding so I can roll it out before I step out.

I had side pipes on my 70 BB back in the mid 70's, I loved them, but burned my leg bad a couple of times. I am restoring a 70 now and trying to decide if I go with side pipes or under car chambered.

The car is a 75 L-48 with a mild cam. I will post up some pics of the car when I get back into town next week.

No idea, the PO put them on. They seem to be cheaper quality than others, but they get the job done, and look simple. Here's a pic.
