76 stringray speedo

Default 76 stringray speedo
Hi guys:

On this 76 I just got the speedo doesn't work but odometor does. The speedometer was working after I drove it a while - but looked as if it was sticking. Cable must be good right? Could i just take the housing out and clean it up or something?

I think that on a 76 the speedo is controled by an electronic board that has a tendency to fail!

Might be that!
