Default Tire suggestion

I need to replace a set of 25 yr. old Dunlop 225-70-15 on a 77 vette that has been in storage for the last 18 yrs.
I'm thinking 235-60-15 BFG TA's?

Any suggestion for quality alternative brands or size from all the corvette experts out there?

Thanks,

Gregg

225-70-15 & 255-60-15 are the right dia. for speedo. Some use 235-60-15 or 245-60-15 for front. Firestone Indy are very good.

Thanks for reply. I'm just getting the car up to speed after so many years of non activity. it was gifted to me. Mechanically it is sound only 40000 original miles, just put new calipers all the way round and serviced the fluids and belts and hoses. It's on the road for shake down. The tires are so wobbley the car just shakes down the road.

Cheers.

Yes, you need to replace the tires right away. I suppose you know they could come apart, even 60 mph sustained might be too much.
