Default Quick question on 69 front clip installation

I'm currently in the process of a front clip change on my 69.

The car originally had and eighties front, the front clip has arrived but I've yet to purchase all the brackets necessary.

Will the purchase of a front cross member, horse-shoe bracket and frame extension brackets allow me to bond on the front clip?

How does the front of the clip attach to the horse-shoe bracket?

thanks

I suggest you get all the brackets in place to algin the front clip before Bonding.
you get 1 chance to get everything lined up.

Purchase both volumes. Front and rear.

All the brackets you mention were installed after the clip was bonded.

Hi Mike

I'll get both volumes.

if all the brackets I mentioned are installed afterwards, what holds the clip at the front end?

The books will show you. Did you ever purchase the AIM? Front clip bonds to the inner fender skirts (left and right) and at the cowl. Inner skirts, in turn, bolt to the radiator support. Radiator support bolts to the frame. Skirts and radiator support may or may not need shims for correct alignment. AIM shows the shim points.

Horseshoe and radiator support rod are more for bumper mounting than they are for clip mounting.
