Hi, I have a Holley single feed carb, and I would like to plumb a hard line with a fuel filter in it to the carb. Does anybody know of a fuel filter that fits the following criteria?:
1.) 5/8" x 18 female thread inlet and outlet.
2.) Doesn't cost a scrillion dollars.
I have looked and looked, but connot find one. I don't get it, it would be such a perfect solution, why doesn't somebody make one?
I had the same dilemma recently when I was reinstalling the engine in my El Camino, I found the one in this pic at Napa, It is a Napa brand filter, the only downside is the 1/4" bung on the side, I ended up plugging it, but would be a good spot for a fuel pressure gauge if you wanted.
I'll see if I can find the part number if you're interested.

you know with compression fittings you can make just about anything work....summit and Jegs has lots of AN fitting fuel filters.....so you use the compression fittings on the line and have them terminate in the AN fittings and the AN fuel filter goes in between. fuel lines always cost me like $125 to make...

Never seen that one before. I would love to know the part number. Wonder if that "bung" could be used for the fuel return line in 68/69?

I can't view the pics on this computer (I'm at work) so a part number would be great, thanks.
