Corvette Spectacular 2011 Wow Really
OK so here is a little about the day... I have never done a show like this before and I have to say the C3 point wise did very well....99.17... I would have actually done a lot better but there were a few things I didnt know about that would have made me have a better score.... My interior got all perfect scores from 2 judges and one dinged me for having things in my glove box slot....
and i got dinged for a few things on my engine that i thought werent being judged... All in all. I had a fun time... learned a few things about being a waxer....
So not to bad, got tied for 3rd... and MuddyWaters(don) with his LT1 got 2nd and Randy 68XLR8 came in 1st....
And Then I got a special award given out for the BEST SHARK of 2011 ....LOL out of all the C3's Really.....OK ill take...
I almost hit the floor when they said I won that.... I was shocked as it was to get 3rd with all of these nice C3's that were out today.....

Congtatulations on your win! Downtown Los Altos is a great place. The 160 or so Corvettes sure dressed up Main Street. I don't think I ever seen so many 62's in one place. One 62 owner with fantastic paint (a special Lexus color) and tasteful ghost flames told me the flames were the diamond earrings on his pretty girl. Northern CA has so many car people. And an all Corvette show is kinda special...

See thats where it gets tricky.. I read where it was from the valve covers up, and i got hit for my actuators dirty, some dust on the fire wall, and the dirt that was on my latch area, the area I said I needed to work on and pain over...
Then I got a ding for dirty wheel wells...I didnt know they needed to be cleaned, I left at 545 in the am to get there and the road was a little wet..
And I didnt know about the map pockets, I left my norcal cards in there and my flash light, just for that would have got me out of tied for 3rd to 3rd on my own...
All and all i was very pleased for my very first time out....
I will be at the CCCC show on oct 1....
