Easier for me to organize this one Randy....as it's just somewhat around the corner from here. Joanne and I could dry run it again... Like I said,....Alice's Restaurant is a very kool place...in a nut shell, the Northern'er guys could (all of us actually) could meet at the top of Hwy. 17, roll into Scotts Valley, head to Big Basin (photo shoot), matter of fact, if you look at my profile, that shot of my hood.... was taken at Big Basin. From there we could head to Alice'restaurant for lunch.

Hi Muddywaters,
I have had the car for about 8 years and it has been under restoration the majority of that time. I have plans to take it to the NCRS regional meet in Sacramento this Oct. Then it will probably be up for sale.

Go for it....you're more familiar with the area than me if you need help with anything holler

There's a rest stop at the 17 summit IIRC that would make a great meet-up point

In C3 Modified, there were six. There were around 25 C3's total in all classes

Don is getting a cruise together Andrew, watch for an upcoming thread

Any particular reason why you want to sell Steve? Going to buy another Vette?

My car is slowly improving but not yet to the standards of your cars. Maybe by next year!

I like the C3 only drives. I look forward to participating.

Or better yet Randy....we could plan it together!??

Yea, there are several rest stops up there as well as establishments. There is also the Lexington Reservoir (right beside Hwy. 17) which is full to the top that might be a great rendezvous spot...

Andrew...the California Stingray's are not into "Standards" were into individuals that drive them and that have a common bond. All our cars have issues and always will. That's what makes them so fun and special...were all wrenchers and like help and look at each others projects...!! Muddy

Hey Don, meeting, cruise? is that what I'm reading. When, where, LOL
Here's a couple of pictures of the other group I roll with. The smaller group is across the street from Alice Rest. The large group is just another cruise. Let me know what your plans are and I'll see if we can make it. Tony

We can do that.....once we have a definte plan(subject to change of course) I can start a thread and organize a meeting point for those of us coming from this side of the summit. I'll look at routes as well. Anything else you can think of let me know

Got a date in mind?

You're reading it right Tony, hopefully you can make it.....we ain't complete if the gang ain't all there

That's understandable....my daughter starts college in 11 more years, and that's where the proceeds from the 68 will go....kids education first, toys are last

Whenever I get something for the Vette, I tell the wife "I'm investing in our daughter's college fund', but for some reason she ain't buying it

I meant my car is not "show" ready yet. All the mechanical stuff is done. So I'm ready to roll. Same with most of the cosmetics. But only one seat recovered in leather. I'll finish the other when I have time. Need to install my rear exhaust cover to fill my holes (side exhaust now). Door panels off while I adjust my windows (new top). Small things like that. Next year I'll enter the show.

My car is definitely ready now for a cruise. Looking forwaard to it!

Dave...deep and cold is an understatement, LOL. But other than that...fine as wine! Joanne and I are really starting to dial this little ol gal in...On the Sunday....we made for Moss Landing (16.6NM) on a nice broad reach with a 4 foot swell on our quater...perfect conditions!...then screamed back on the oppsite tack. We averaged about 6 knots..with a high speed of 8.9...just couldn't get that 9 out of her.... Next time!!

Here is a pic of our little restored 1968 Santana 22...
