On the up side, it is 80% restored, and there is a $4100 discount off the list price. And nearly all the numbers match.

Only a Corvette owner...
My favorite parts are the sticker on the bumper and the wrong-year rocker panels.

If this is the case, I should not be driving my 70 454 to work anymore.

Your asking the price of an entry level home in the midwest and you are saying the numbers "possibly match"?? Isn't that something you should know as a seller? I mean really, how do you get something like that insured? What is your insurance company going to give you should it get stolen or totalled. If you don't drive it, why have it. And to comment on the vette trying to fetch 600K: What is the point? Nothing you can't live in is worth that kind of money. I don't care how rare it is. Whats this world come to? So many ethical and moral questions.....

How can you tell? The small gap at the front? Just curious.
Nice enough car but maybe a little overpriced.

68 and 69 rocker panels are two part; semi-flat black fiberglass panels with a bright metal and semi-flat black trim piece across the top. All other years are stamped aluminum; some model years painted, others not.
