....actually, it's a new Nikon DSLR with video feature. I usually take photos, but I thought I would test out the video capability. Here's the Vette idling in the driveway.....
Well, DSLR's shoot amazing video (quality), you got yourself a great camera. Depending on which camera you picked up, they also require a good deal of input of the settings to get really great shots that they are capable of. As you've probably found out, the steady shot isn't always up to a good camcorder with optical stabilization (try a tripod, or steady-can). But in the hands of good operator, the video quality from a DSLR will blow away that of yesterday's top end pro video camera. Enjoy...
The camera is a Nikon D7000.....many, many menus. I don't usually take videos, but it's a good feature to have if a situation arises. The sound came out better than I expected, considering the small mono microphone. (You can attach stereo mikes, though).
