Default 72 convertible top adjustment HELP

Does anyone have any info on how tight/clearance for the rear bow on the decklid and how to make the adjustments,thank

First replace the weatherstrip seal if it at all worn. From my experience-If the sides have a gap, but the back fits fairly good- the seal is shot. If not, them mainly the adjustment is with the two threaded pins that catch through the deck lid.

Tight enough not to leak

Over the years I have done all the damn adjustments one can DO on one of these cars.....or any convertible for that matter....

IMO, first thing to go is those cables inside the top from front edge to the rear joint.....then those silly straps inside about 1.5" wide to the bottom bow....you cut that stuff outta there,, the top goes up/down SO much easier, and fastens with no problem

then to find a top at reasonable price that actually fits the car....good luck on that one.....them things are all over the map,

Thanks for all of the input,just had to unscrew the pins to catch better,and the bow came down fine,thanks again
