I'm Back!
I'll be hanging around the forum more from now on, I've picked up a 1981 that needs some t/tlc (tender or tough loving care
). I can also update any of you on where the 76 project went as well in a few days, if anyone remembers and wants to hear about it.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I've just started getting into my 81, and it is a basket-case for sure, it looks like someone put a napa crate engine or something of the sort in it, threw an edelbrock performer manifold on top (never mind torquing the bolts, that's for people that care..) put on an adapter for the original 1981 e-carb and called it good.
I found antifreeze on top of the engine, oil on top of the engine, antifreeze in the lifter valley, and I've only had a chance to tear it apart for 2 days
This pretty much shoots my plans for this car to heck (fuel inject it and wait until next year to rebuild the engine I have) as I thought I at least had a semi-decent/standard block and heads to work with. The good news is there is absolutely no rust on the frame, the glass is good, and the interior is not TOO horrible (the carpet in it is new, but is installed on top of the OLD carpet
) Also it has bronze glass t-tops, which is kind of different, not sure if I am going to keep them or not yet though. That's my update for now, sorry I still don't have any pictures!
p.s.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a reasonably priced engine combo with fuel injection?
