Default C3's with 18" wheels only thread

As some of you know Im starting to build a 81 pro-touring vette.

I will post pics as soon as most of my parts come in. I have purchased a spare 80/82 frame to cut/modify/minitub.

I will either go 17/11 rear no FLARES, or... 18/12 rear No FLARES.

I will post pics of the whole modification. I would like to see vettes with 18s only. dont have to be 12 inches wide.

post up please.

That is very nice. I am looking for that setup. Are those American Racing Torq wheels. What width and backspace are they? What size tires did you use. They look like Kuhmos. Thanks

The fronts are 17X8 with a 4 inch backspace and am running 255 45 17
Rears are 18X10 with a 5.5 backspace. Running 275 40 18 on stock trailing arms. The tires in the pictures are Kumhos but I have since "worn" them out and replaced them with Nitto NT05. Much stickier tire. I also have painted the spokes of the rims with a gray paint. Just did not want all the shine.

I think I am going for the 17x8 all around. Does the low profile hurt the already stiff ride?
