Pulling the motor
So, I find myself succumbing to the while I'm at it virus. After pulling my transmission and sending it out to be rebuilt, I have now decided to go ahead and pull the motor to clean it up and freshen up the engine compartment. Can someone tell me me what size bolts I need to mount the motor to an engine stand?

3/8"-16, but the length is going to depend on the stand. Be sure to use grade 5 or better and with hardened washers. FWIW, if a block is going to be hanging on a stand for more than a couple of days I prefer to support it with a 2x4 "post" under the front end.

watch out... once the engine out it is like a domino spending money affect. I original planned on replacing the radiator and water pump but it didn't go that way.
