Default a little irritated

I just recieved ANOTHER headlight bezel that I ordered from a dealer. The first one I did not read close enough and when it arived found out it was plastic. So I sent it back, with the shipping on me of course, and ordered another from somewhere else at half again the price. Guess what!!!!!! It's plastic too. Does anyone sell a pot metal headlight bezel for a 72 or are they all plastic? I am really upset that this one did not say in the ad that I can find that it was plastic!!

Kelley

Oh yeah, one more thing. Has anyone put an aggresive cam in one of these, and what did you do about the loss of vacume?

If you need a diecast bezel, you'll have to find a used original one, they aren't being repro-ed. The repros only come in fiberglass or plastic.

68-72's used diecast bezels, while 73-82's used fiberglass ones. The plastic bezels on the market (actually SMC I think), are repro replacement bezels.

Well,,, i guess that would explain it wouldn't it. I thought they were all metal. I guess i have only messed with the older ones. Thanks for setting me straight.
