Default Headlights

I have a 79 c3. My headlights open but the drivers does not close. Anyideas why or where to start?

Check the vacuum lines going to the headlight actuator.

My passenger side does that intermitently. I go out and slightly lift on the light assembly and it goes down. It does it so infrequent, I've just been dealing with it but my initial thought is that it may be a stop screw/bolt adjustment.

I agree! The seals seem to be the main problem.

I got under the car with an oil can and oiled everything that moved and my headlights work well now.
Once they are opened the springs keep them open not the vacuum, you can grab the spot where the 4 springs are hooked up and pull it and the light will close once the vacuum is released.
