Hi ,This is my favourite and was taken at the beginning of the year (my first Corvette year) just down the bottom of my road at a 100 year old disused Lime Kiln over here in South Wales UK
They sure knew how to make an impressive building back then,it was the biggest one of its type at the time and produced Lime that was sold all over Europe
The little red 76 vette did well as I watched her do her thing on the chassis dyno...lots of sound and fury for a first timer watching it read 30 more horsepower with the exhaust improvements and better timing without getting into the engine.
I love the little red car and this was a whole new thing for me to see with it in a speed shop called appropriately: Adrenaline!
good looking cars with the side pipes. Back then when gas had lead in it would the outlet ends of the pipe have looked whitish from the lead? Seems like I remember that on normal exhausts for engines that ran well. Anything but ethanol, please!
Not really of this season of driving ( although I took mine out today after these pictures) but this is the first time I've taken a picture of my '68 with my brothers '69. He bought his in '82, mine was purchased in '89.
I'm disappointed that we never got a picture with my cousins '70 before he sold it a couple years ago. It would have been nice to have the first three years of the C3 let alone three out of five of the chrome bumper years in one family.
