Default Tail light conversion kit - bubble

Anyone have experience with these?

How do they look in person?

I can't see putting the old tail lights back in it, they do look old.

At $200.00 for stock looking replacements and $80.00 for these it's something to think about.

I just do do ugly well.

It was the thing to do 30 years ago. A fad. Not a good look.

I bought mine with the bubble lights already installed. Here's what it looks like. Personally, I like it and decided against going back to stock. Others will disagree.

I think they sometimes look ok to good on the rubber bumper C3's but I don't recall seeing one on a chrome bumper C3 that I thought looked that good. The rubber bumper C3s seem more streamlined to me so the bubble tail lights fit that image without looking out of place.

I love the bubble lenses.

They'll clean up a little with plastic polish.

Bubble lights were on my '72 when I purchased it - I think they look good. The only issue is the absence of backup lights. I also re-wired both lights on each side to flash when the turn signals and brake lights are activated.

I seem to like them on the red Vettes but not so much on the blue one.

Mine is going to be dark blue.

Put them on the '75 when I added the later back bumper. Also have LED star bulbs now.

To me, they just look like the owner was too cheap to buy the proper lenses for his car.

The bubble lights give a custom look. I used 4 stock ones for a sleeper.

Looks good, but no faster. If you are selling them, I have some ideas to improve.

i do not make the electronics, they come from Spaghetti Engineering, but they are made for a 69 Camaro, thus a lot of mods have to be done to make them fit in our cars...
