I am helping a friend out with some lite work on his 81. One item that he wanted me to help with was his power seat. I pulled it out and trouble shot the motors and actuators. I was able to restore power to 2 of the 3 motors but the third one is toast. Does anyone know where I can get the replacement motor(s). They look like they come in a bank of three motors together. I searched around and haven't had any luck. I haven't even been able to track down the GM Part#. This appears to be an allusive little item. I have my doubts this was a Corvette only item. GM probably put these motors in other vehicles.
Check with Keen Parts (a Forum Supporting Vendor). I know they rebuild the 84 up power seat tracks and may be able to do the 81-82's also, as they are similar.

I talked with them and they said that they do a complete track rebuild for $220.00. That is definatley a great option. I think I will wait around to see if someone comes up with a source for just the motor.

Reason: Incomplete
Any Pick-A-Part or You Pull It...yards around you? You might be able to find a GM model about the same year with power seat and check to see if it will work or not. If you can find a nice person at a GM parts counter, you could take the part number above and see what years and models use it.
ebay or post a want to buy ad in the parts section here and you might find someone who has one laying around. There are 4 listed on ebay with the frame I believe the lowest one was $164
