Inner Fender bracket ID
What is the functional purpose of this riveted plate on the right (P/S) Inner fender of my 1969? Just for added support? Thanks

stud plate like that was for mounting things on the engine bay side. There should be one on the back towards firewall for mounting the actuator for the wiper tray door but that looks like it is toward the front....

Heater hoses once upon a time. AIM shows it, the clip that attaches to it, and how to correctly route the hoses.

That is the inner side toward the firewall. Here is the "back" tire side.

I will refer to my Assembly manual - you know, the book you have to flip completely through to find something

Flip though the AIM often enough and you begin to remember where things are and can find them more easily. If memory serves, heater hoses and in the engine section.
