So i know that allot of you guys are gonna be getting together in novemeber. I was just wondering how many of you are close to long beach. I am right in hawaiian gardens close to long beach, cerritos, los alamitos. My car is far from ready for a long ride from this area to big bear an i can't get off work to meet you guys even if it were road worthy. I am wondering if or wear any of you ever get together close by. I have seen a coffe shop mentioned several times but don't know where that is or even in this state. I see several c3s in my area I dont know if any of those cars belongs to guys on this forum. Just curious who is close to me and if you guys ever get together with your cars for fun or work on your cars together. I am from a small town in MO where all my firends would have been helping do my me vette build with beer and lots of bulshit and laughter. Here in cali things are very different i don't know any one in cali outside of my wife. I work allot and when you rebuild engines all day coming home to my c3 just seems too much like work sometimes. Most car guys hang out with other car guys having someone to actually talk to and bounce ideas off of at a coffe shop sounds awesome and i like the idea of talking face to face if i can over the inline thing

Just to be clear though I am not knocking this forum
I think it is amazing that we can all get advice an opinions from people all over the world and be apart of the entire network of people who love these cars an want to see them on the road just looking for some people to hang out with who share the c3 hobbie.

You need to get it up and running before the cruise to Solvang next april. 36 C3's from all over state, and this was just the first annual too

Jesse,

I don't know of any C3 only Clubs in LA/Orange County areas but there are plenty of Corvette Clubs around you can join. I belong to one in Orange County with over 140 members but we have less than 5 C3 owners.

What we have been talking about on this thread is Cars and Coffee. It's in Irvine very close to the El Toro "Y" where the 405 and 5 freeways meet. It's probably the biggest free weekly car show in SoCal. Here are a few links for you.

http://irvine.carsandcoffee.info/

This site shows just about all the Car Shows in SoCal.

That's sounds awesome I will definitely do my best to have her running before then. My wife and I were in Solvang in January. Charged our cordless intercoms an we road my bike up there got hotel inSana Barbara, Solvang an all up the coast for three days. Once you experience that you gotta love california where it stays warm enough to ride in Jan but still the leaves were changing color and beautiful scenery. I like it that is a plan to start making the cars first semi long cruise to Solvang in April. I will definitely be at cars an coffee next sat morning. Then I work 2-10 at night though so will have to leave around noon. How many of you guys go regularly? It would be nice to put faces to profile names and see some beautiful cars.

Yeah, I counted only 34 in that pic too, but there were a couple of guys giving rides to some locals. Rides they won't soon forget....

Jesse, if all goes as planned we won't be at the C&C for much more than a couple of hours, before we're off on the cruise.

Cars and Coffee starts officially at 6am and is done by 9am on Saturday's. I go about 3 times per month but I don't always take my C3 so let me know when you are going and hopefully we can meet up.
