Oil pressure question
What should it be (specifically on a '73 350 190hp) and what would be a possible cause of low pressure (35psi)?

I thought if we had 10lbs per 1000 rpms we were good. What rpms are you reading 35lbs at?

There are several factors as to how much oil pressure one has with his engine. 1) Rear main bearing clearance. 2) oil weight 3) oil pump (hi flow or stock). 4) Engine condition.
But.. 35lbs is perfectly normal and would not in my mind even come close to being called low.
Put this worry to rest, you don't have any issue at 35 lbs.

Mine starts about 40 cold then settles between 35 & 40. I was used to our Lotus running at 50psi but it's a different animal.

My 79 L-82 after warm up give 20psi at idle and about 33-35 psi at 50-60 mph. I use 10W-40 oil.

Yes, and even the Owner's Manual says so. The Corvette version, not the Lotus.
