I have read the past post and some of the build of Merlin and would have to say, you had one hell of a crazy dream that became a reality. Most people build/spend what ever your budget will allow and it seams that the Merlin budget was no different than most other people would do them selfs. I love the car, its the builds like yours that keep me pushing to make my car as Bad Azz as I can afford.

Like others have asked, do you have the car back in your position or will you have in the future? Was this car ever really played with, like out on a closed coarse to really see how much fun this car could be to sit behind the wheel and just let her rip? I bet the grin on ones face would last for days.

Hope to hear from you what your future plans are in the world of Hot Rod Vette's, and I hope each day gets better for you with your recovery.

Glad to see your OK Steve

Back when you were building Merlin, couldn't wait to get home to check CF and see if you had posted any updates on your build progress of Merlin.

You and Montey built two of the best cars here.

Reading the title of your post, are you going to get Merlin back?????????

Hi Steve

I followed every thread of your Merlin build and it was amazing for me as I just got into the C3 world, bought my 1st Vette in 2000.

Don't buy Merlin back, but build an other even better one.
I can't wait for the info and pics.

Sorry for your misfortune accident.

Merlin and Love is Blue had to be two of the most insane cars built on the forum. Where most guys would take it to a point and say "thats enough", you guys just kept evolving the car into something different all the time.

As bad as the accident was, the fact that you're still here says alot. It would be cool to see Merlin "come home" (even if "home" is now Florida./:\

Steve,

Are you buying 'Merlin' back? I recall reading that you had sold it. Welcome back and hope you mend well! Lots of changes for all of us since 1998... to think that was 13 years ago; where has all of the time gone!!!
