Default window felt removal

I need some help im trying to remove the window felt weather strip from my doors and cant get to the screws because door glass is in the way . Is there a way to get the door glass to go down any more they are power woindows and the car is a 1977. Thanks

There is a stop on the bottom of the track that you can adjust downwards to give you a little more clearance. Just loosen the bolt and the stop will slide down.

If I understand it correctly you can remove the anti-rattle bumpers and push the glass closer to the door panel to gain more room.

You'll need to remove the door panel for this. And the angle of the screwdriver is less than optimal, but it is doable (on a 68 anyway).

If you loosen the window stop, you might want to mark where it goes back to.
