1972 rear lights????

1972 rear lights????
Do all four tail lights illuminate at once of do the two outer ones do brake and light and the two inner ones only light up when car is in reverse?

Only in 68 the 4 tail light work together and the reveres light is in different place (under the bumpers), see this link, how FM change later model to work as 68.

No disrespect, but since this is an otherwise obvious question, I am wondering whether your actual intent concerns a tail light conversion kit. If all four light up on any 69-82, someone has installed the kit, usually with bubble lenses.
