Default Waiting waiting waiting...

My new '73 should arrive in about 10 days...damn I hate waiting, it's like being an 8-year-old before Christmas.

I remember waiting for mine back in 2005... Seems like yesterday.
Before you know it you will be driving yours down the road wondering where the time(And Money) has gone.

Just like Tom Petty says "the waiting is the hardest part". I was taking sleeping pills to sleep and/or a few drinks for the days before my arrival - couldn't sleep w/o it.

I got my 73 in 1978 and could not sleep for a week waiting to see if I could get a loan from the bank. That was the best thing I have ever bought.

Found it online but then contacted the dealer and the previous owners and got a full rundown on the history, pics, and video. broke my cardinal rule of driving before i buy, but I'm pretty confident in this one. Will know soon!

I'm not good at waiting. When I bought my '70 my son and I drove from Chicago to Charlotte NC to trailer it back the next day.

The camera will be charged and waiting!

Arrival date is officially the 24th or 25th. I'm hoping for a little something extra on Thanksgiving.

I like these posts; they get me re-inspired to keep moving on my '73.

Where is it coming from ? If you need a different transport, let me know and I'll get you the contact info for the one we used from Cali to Phoenix.

Good luck--

I used Cosmos Auto Transport, they do a lot of business with the place where I bought the car and I figured it would be easy. I usually use Red Carpet, which I love. Cosmos subbed it out, which a lot of places do.

At this point, I don't know the exact adress where the car is being stored (!!!) and with the holiday weekend, I'd only save a couple days anyway and have to battle the transpo company over a refund, so I'm going to let it ride for now. If this **** happens again though, I'm going to go ballistic AND switch carriers.

I did at least get a $100 refund for the inconvenience.

Maybe they damaged your car while loading. Now Bubba and the team are working on the body and paint.

Pulling your chain as you wait.
