im aware that the headlights work off of the vacuums,
i pulled my dash out of my car today to dye it. (anyone who as ever done this will know that with all the wiring and attachments that go are connected to the dash causes this to be a true pain)
but in the process i have unhooked some vacuum hoses i have four free hose below the steering column.
i believe i have one blowing and and one sucking and two other ones not doing anything.( i could be wrong not 100% on that)
and as you know my headlights are now popped up.
i dont have a garage and if it didnt get dark i would have figured this out.
but since it is dark she will have to wait until the morning.
i was wondering if anyone knows exactly what i am suppose to do with those hoses ( i know this is a simple problem, but dont bash on me. i could probably figure this out on my own but hearing from you guys makes the job quicker and easier!)
just a guess without pictures or better description (like the color codes on the lines), but they are the lines that attach to the vacuum override switch that mounts under the steering column. go to drrebuilds site or zips site as they both have a detailed description of the vacuum system. you should get an AIM if you don't have one (i assume you don't or you wouldn't have to ask that question) it makes life with older cars a lot less stressful
