Default Original Wheels....but larger???

Has anyone seen or have wheels that look like the original Aluminum wheels that came on the C3's but larger...17,18,19,20???

Or have any suggestions on a larger wheel that would almost look stock? But not. So when you look at them you would think...hmm it coulda came like that. Besides Torque Thrusts! I like em, but jeesh it's like the go to wheel for everyone...I would like to see something different.

I saw some 18" ralleye wheels somewhere, I think in a catalog. Of course I can't seem to find it now, maybe I'm making it up. If they exist I'd like to see a pic of em on a car.

American Racing Custom Shop wheels can be ordered in various sizes and backspace. They have about eight different wheels.

U.S. Mag Custom 2-piece has a wheel that can be ordered in various sizes and backspace.

SSR 3-piece wheels (with two of the pieces welded) can be ordered in offsets of 0mm to -13mm.

Consider the 275/40-18 or the 275/35-19 tire size. AR Custom Shop has 18 x 9.5 BS 5" or BS 5.25" wheels. SSR has 18 x 9.5 -3mm wheels.

Wheels like that can probably be found in 15 x 8 0mm. But 0mm offset is pulled inward more than stock. Also, there's the AR Ansen and the U.S. Mag Indy in something like 15 x 8 0mm sizes.

American Racing Custom Shop wheels:

Custom Torq Thrust II, up to 18 x 9.5 and choice of backspace
Classic Torq Thrust CL205, up to 18 x 9.5 and choice of backspace
Custom Slat Flat, up to 17 x 9.5 and choice of backspace
Custom 200S, up to 17 x 9.5 and choice of backspace
Custom Hopster, up to 18 x 9.5 and choice of backspace
Custom Cobra, up to 18 x 9.5 and choice of backspace

Actually the wheels up to 18 x 9.5 are also available in 20" diameter but not in 19" diameter.

Evod Industries can make you exactly what you are looking for............but at a price (there's always a catch isn't there?) at 6K+ per set depending on width and diameter.
There was also a thread on this over at Vette MOD where someone had a set of wheels custom made to look very much like the factory 8 slots.
There are so many wheel companies out there try and find something that's close to what you want off the shelf. Try looking at the billet wheel companies like Billit Specialties, Bonspeed, Budnik, Intro, Jason Rushforth, New Gen, to name just a few. Keep in mind though that quality "big" wheels (18s - 19s) are not cheap ($500+ on the low end). You start looking at these higher end wheels in wide widths and large diameters then cover them in some high end rubber and it's not hard to be in over 6K. Good luck in your search.

I cant believe no one make the C3 aluminum wheels in larger sizes yet. They have the Camaro N90 and steel available, as well as the Pontiac Snowflake and honeycomb wheels. but No Corvette wheel.
