Default Cloth insert dye

The seat covers in my 75 are in pretty good condition. They are light camel or tan with a cloth insert. I think I can dye the vinyl ok, but don't know about the fabric. I did a search and didn't find anything. Has anyone tried this. It would sure save a bunch of dollars. Going to red. Thanks

I bought some Spraycote vinyl paint a while back, and the implication was that it would work on fabrics. I used some with some success on carpet once. Maybe find some similar fabric and test it out?

SEM automotive interior dye will work on cloth.

While doing a search I found a post that had a picture of the bottom of a can of Wilcox dye and the bottom of a SEM can. They both had the same code numbers. Does anyone know if they are the same? I plan to use a spray gun and not spray cans.
