Thanks roy69, back at you and everyone also. Besides the many things in my life to be thankful for such as my family, friends, job just to mention a few, we can all be thankful we are such a small group of people lucky enough to own a C3 Corvette. Spend 15 minues driving one and most people we pass on the road would love to be in the drivers seat but for some reason will never know the joy of owning one. For me, the problems associated with owning a 30+ year old car will never over shadow the joy I get when I drive mine. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
Happy Turkey Day to all the weather here today is going to be great so after filling my belly instead of watching football I'm going to take the vette out for a cruise!!!
I just arrived home from the USA yesterday, Thursday and want to wish all of my friends there a Happy Thanksgiving Day. I fired up the white coupe today and drove up to the shops, trying to remember to keep to the LEFT side of the road (after four weeks stateside!) and two early twenties honeys turned their heads as I drove by and I saw them watching me, er, the car (LOL) in the mirror. If only I was thirty years younger...........
Rain is forecast tomorrow ( Saturday) so I guess I'll drive the Cruze instead. I had a great time over there, especially at SEMA, and it was good to catch up with Eric and Lori, Randy and Coraline, and Dee and Dave in Lodi. We left Vegas Nov 5 and drove north through Death Valley, intending to take the Tioga pass to get to Frisco, but it snowed and the passes were closed.
We stayed overnight in Lake Tahoe South and got to Frisco on Sunday. Rose and I caught the flu and spent a few days in bed before driving down to LA on the 11th. We had a great time overall and are looking forward to coming over next October/November.
