starter question
I have a 1982 corvette which I believe has an issue with the starter. The battery is fully charged but when I attempt to start, I will turn the key all the way and it just clicks, doesn't try to turn over, just makes his clicking sound. I do this 4 or 5 times and eventually it starts. I would like to fix this myself but do not know too much about fixing cars. Can anyone give me some advice?

Had the same issue,but it was an el-cheapo mini starter.It worked for a month then started doing what yours is doing,click,click,click then it would start.Got worse and worse,had me chasing bad wiring,weak battery which none of that was the problem.Replaced the starter with a GM mini starter problem gone all good! Lesson learned buy quality parts!! Aloha's
