Never saw that thread - that is great. Given the fact that 99% of the time I am asking for help rather than providing it (would if I could) and getting so much time from people I have never met - don't think I could take a part for free from someone unless I had something to give too. Have to say that some of the people on here are so unselfish with their time and willing to help others - helps my view of the world on days when I start to doubt what human nature is.

You can include me in that. I'm not much a mechanic but a tinkerer but am learning a lot here. I check in every night just to see what's new. I hope to repay some day all the responses I have recieved.

Totally love this idea. I was just thinking that I just took out the stock stereo of my 77 and would love to give it to someone. I don't really need to make any money off it and someone might really be looking for the stock radio. It worked fine before I took it out.

I was also thinking that it would be nice to have a thread that managed to keep track of wants/offerings. Perhaps something like the license plate thread that is updated.

Anyway those are my thoughts/contribution.

OK then let's start. DrRCC, I could really use your radio. I will PM you for details. I have to offer a pair of 1969 door panels (manual windows) which were upholstered in rather hideous red button tufted velvet. These may only be useful as trim donors and I will be happy to cut them up or send them whole. PM for pics and a freight quote and Happy Holidays to all!

I am subscribing to the thread. I just purchased my corvette, so I don't have any extra parts. But it would be nice to see how this goes.
