1974 door wont open

my door wont open with key and cannot unlock from inside anybody can help thx

What is the temperature outside and did you wash it lately?

door wont open

about 65-70 heated garage and no it wasnt just washed the door wont open from ouside and **** wont turn from inside to unlock it

Do the lock mechanisms seem to be moving? If they do then possibly a linkage arm/s have become disconnected...

no the **** on inside wont turn and key in lock doesnt do anything and hanles dont work either.
so how do u troubleshoot with door clesed thks lee

can you get the windows down to see into the door? If so can you see the linkage running to the rear of the door for the lock? If you can roll down the windows you should be able to construct a rod to go down and manually work the linkage to unlock the door or even the linkage to open it. Put some rubber coating on the tool if you can to keep from scratching the glass.
