As I mentioned yesterday in another post, film crew here today in Rhode Island for a future cable show to be titled "Hidden Muscle". Being shopped to Spike TV and sponsored by Valvoline. I know Marilyn doesn't really qaulify as muscle but she is worthy nonetheless. When a friend fired up that 427 big block, man, I wanted to get online and get me another vette ASAP!
The 55 belongs to the shop owner whose family has been working on and racing classic cars for decades. The rat rod is his dad's.
Not a bad lineup.
Not sure when and if this is ever going to air but it is fun anyway being a part of the show.
Enjoy the pics and Happy Holidays!
BTW, where in Barrington Rhode Island is the shop in the pictures? My father and mother were from Barrington. Pawtucket RI is my home town. a past member of the Eliminators CC and SNETA.

That shop is in western Barrington, down Bay Spring Ave. Used to be called Razzy's.
Interesting how I found them...
I was looking around for a good mechanic who knew Corvettes and not just in the "Yeah I can work on that...kind of way.
I was having the typical problem with the tach cable breaking at the 90 degree bend out the back. I knew (thanks to all the info here..) that the proper fix was a rotation of the distributor 22 1/2 degrees. I was determined to find a mechanic who could troubleshoot the problem correctly without me having to tell them.
Mike was the eighth guy I took her to before he finally told me...one look and he said" You gotta spin that distributor 22 1/2 degrees and then replace the cable"
That was all I needed...anything I can't do myself goes right to Mike.
