Default Tank help!!!

How do you get the rubbler boot off of the tank spout? I need to see if there is any paper work in there? I noticed the screws that take the lid off do I remove them first?

yes remove the screws holding on the lid/ring and the boot just slides off the neck of the tank

It's a tight fit, some rubber lube around the tank neck will help.

Push the edge down a bit and you might be able to see whether your tank sticker is there without removing the collar. You'll need a good flashlight or shop light.

Folded the rubber down on both sides and all I could see was the tank straps. I checked side to side, should I check top to bottom and could the sticker have slid down?
