Default 72 Holley 6239 question...

Anyone know the reason why some of the 6239 Holleys came with 4519/6828 metering blocks and why some have the 7102/7101 blocks?
And is there a difference?

I'd be willing to bet Stan Falenski (Rowdy Rat) would know.

My best guess for the different metering blocks would be a earlier and later version of the 6239 carb. Would like to know for sure though!
