What we do is try to schedule it on a day the Corvette factory is giving tours in the morning and then drive the short distance over and finish the day out touring the Corvette museum.

A trip to the museum would be incomplete without a factory tour, and the factory is not open all the time. We almost made that mistake, but once the factory hours were confirmed (at that time they were closed on Fridays) we went a day earlier so we could see both.

Check the factory schedule as well as the museum's ....you don't want to go when the museum is having an event (or maybe you do). We went a couple of summers ago and both the tour and the museum were sparsely attended.
