Diff. Side Yoke Shields

Diff. Side Yoke Shields
Are the metal shields (not the seals) on the side yokes supposed to move on the yoke or are they pressed onto the yoke and be tight?
Mine are sort of tight but you can move them back and forth (pivot) with a screwdriver fairly easily.
Also, with the yoke pushed in (there is a small amount of play) there is a slight gap between the shield and the diff case. How close should they be?

Never Mind
Pulled the yoke, straightened the shields up a bit and now they are tight on the yokes
