Default Fender protection

The vette is now at the body shop getting a new paint job. (I will post pics later) I haven't worried to much about protecting the fenders since I knew I would be painting it. I will get the vette back in a week or two and want to make sure that I protect it while working on it. The question is what is being used? covers, grippers, complete front end cover. Just want protect my investment.

I bought a couple of the old style fender protectors - -padded foam on the bottom, vivyl on top- at a car show years ago and use them prtty religiously while working under the hood. It's saved countless scratches from belt buckles, dropped tools and other transgressions.

Yup, same here. A clean, old, shipping blanket gets used too, on occasion.
