Thinking of building a 32 Ford with Corvette running gear..
I have been looking at the 32 fords and really like the look. I have seen some with the standard 350/350 and the fact that they are chevy powered. I could possibly do a Corvette running gear from front/rear suspension and engine/trans combo.
Also looking for a reputable 32 Ford web site where I could gather information and get a plan started, there are quite a few. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good 32 web site?

A neighbor has an old ford, possibly a 29, I haven't talked with him but see him drive it occasionally. Its not a T bucket, has a molded on high roof top, no fenders. And a chromed C3 corvette rear end. To me something looks off when viewing from the rear. Its like the setup is too wide for the narrow body. Maybe its the really wide tires and no fenders. But something does not look right to me. And I love old Ford hot rods nearly as much as I love corvettes. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and the car has the right pieces, but to me its not quite right.

Would you consider putting Corvette running gear in a '34-'35 Chevy?
They are not as common as the "Deuce Coupes" but they do make great "street rods".
Take a look. http://www.superiorglassworks.com/19...evy-Coupe.html

I currently own an ALL ORIGINAL 1931 Model A Rumble seat Roadster.
Bought if from a barn... REALLY!
And while I have spent the last 5 years buying every piece to build it back original... I currently have EVERYTHING from a 77 that I could graft onto a (highly) modifed frame and create a real hot rod....
And the 31 is COMPLETELY dissassembled at this time.... just waiting ...
But....
Like I said....
I already own everything to put this car back to stock. And the numbers ALL match. And it was made in 1931. And it is still ALL HERE. One of 1,237 roadsters made in 1931.
Should I hot rod or not... that is the question?

Rod that sucker. I've got a '30 roadster all steel with a 500 CI Cadillac. A lot more fun than an original. As far as a Vette rear. I had a '30 Chevy that I put a Vette rear in. Narrowed the half shafts to make it narrowed enough. I guess you could call them third shafts. Ran it on coil overs

I'd rebuild it as stock and find a fiberglass se-up for a street rod... If you have all the parts, why not? It would still be really cool bone stock.

If you're going to transplant a Corvette suspension do it with a C4 or C5/C6 suspension. C3 suspensions are heavy, aren't terribly attractive, and the geometry has issues. I've done a couple C4 transplants and it's pretty straightforward.

You can't beat the looks and performance.
