75 Steering Column Removal
Thanks in advance.

As I remember, the lever that attaches to the cable has to be in the full UP position in order for the lower end of the steering column to pass through the dash panel.
You didn't mention if you had a standard (non-adjustable) steering column or a T&T. The T&T is a bit more complicated to remove from the car because the steering wheel, horn parts, and telescope lock have more parts. The actual removal of the steering column from the car is identical regardless of the type of steering column.
Here are two papers (one standard, one T&T) on removing the steering wheel. Then one more paper that is common for either type column.

This car has a manual transmission and the steering is tilt. I'll print the pages off from the links you provided and give it another shot. Thanks for your reply !!
