Default Nice day for a drive.

Took it out for a final drive before tearing into it to replace the cam. Sorry for the shaky vid. done on my phone. Wasn't planning on it just a last minute idea.

I have a oil leak at the front crank seal, the water pump and timing chain are the only things left not chromed. So while I'm there I might as well change out the cam.

Nothing wild, (CompCams XE268H) and a (Cloyes 9-1100T) for timing. I aleady have the long tube headers running with true duals and capped with flowmaster 40's. Carb. has been dialed in, underdrive pulleys,trans-Go in tranny, dizzy done, Weiand "street performer" intake, and im sure Im forgetting some stuff. As things need to be fixed, I just replace with a little better. She already runs great, but since I have the leak and all, I might as well.

I am afraid Mr. Winter is here to stay for awhile and my driving days will now have to wait till spring. Must be nice to be able to play all year round.

Oldsarge, it really ain't all year round for us down here in south Fla. The summers are too HOT and the Humidty = all you need to do is walk from inside your A/C house to outside for a minute, and your sweating like a pig. LOL If it wasn't for our winters we would be inside all the time.

Yup a nice day here too. Heading down to the B-J auction tomorrow with my youngest son. I've been driving the 92 quite a bit lately, i love driving this car. Handles like a slot car and is pretty quick. Someday I'll finish the 72 project. I tore the Muncie apart this week for a rebuild, all it needs is a basic rebuild kit. Hard parts are all in good shape. Should be a great day at the auction, I go for the car show. Some of the nicest examples in the country are sold. Weather will be a little cool, 70's but I can deal with it.
