Default Just 2 questions this time.

I changed the color of my 77 from medium red to dark red for the 77 models.
it is PPG 2979 but everyone wants to know the name of this red. Is there a
name for it?
I also replaced all the weatherstripping following one of the vendors on this side instructions. the only problem is with the T-tops. the rubber where the top meets the windshield isn't sealing even with all shims removed and the front lever latch readjusted. Any simple cure?

Yes, its called Dark Red:

Just to be sure, I meant no funny stuff or sarcasm. I cross referenced the paint number and that is what I came up with.

I think all the fancy shmancy names disappeared with the chrome bumpers.

Thank you men for the replies. I enjoy just knowing someone is listening. Having lots of enjoyment fixing up this car. All done with exterior paint and will be finished with color change of interior and new carpet next week. Then the really fun stuff, remove original exhaust and install the new sidepipes. After that it will be on to the rear suspension. The rear tires klunk and move
quite a bit when shaking at 6 and 12 and 3 and 9. Jim
