Rebuilding Convertible Frame
I just removed the Convertible top in my 72 Roadster. The top is in sad shape and the frame looks terrible. I didn't want to disassemble the riveted part but the washers are missing or broke or cracked so it looks like I should break it all apart. My question is has anyone tried powder coating the frame or does that build it up too much and make the tolerances too tight and a struggle to fold. It also looks like the front edge of the top has wood in it that is deteriorated also. Any advice would be great. Thanks
