Great pictures
I've always wanted to go there...someday. Watching it on TV is OK but I don't understand why people pay so much. Don't get me wrong I understand the "High end" cars but when you see someone drop $100,000 for a '73 Z28 or a '69 Chevelle It makes me shake my head in disbelief.

They have more money than time. Show up, see hundreds of nice cars in one place quickly, buy a car(s), pay, go home, enjoy. No time wasted looking.
BTW, that BRICKLIN looked to be in great condition.
Who is this lovely lady? She's prettier than the Nomad.
I'll tell her you said that. You will have a fan.

Is this an event you attend annually or fortunate with time-off, this year?
I attend different events every year... Pebble Beach last year, BJ Vegas, LA, Scottsdale, Mille Miglia, etc. My wife loves the events as much as I do so we pick different venues and go.

The Brick was very nice and the price was low. I was struggling with not bidding, but my Bricklin is essentially an identical car- original unpainted green acrylic, all stock, 20k miles. I couldnt justify buying a second just like it. I would have bought it if it were comparable and an orange car.
Uh-huh. Then another commercial, and another, and another, and another...Speed Channel really sold out this year. I can't recall them having that many commericals in the past.
When the commercials started, I flipped back to the playoff game. I was able to watch most of the game and most of B-J.

The thing I don't understand is I have to believe that most of the viewers of the BJ auction are car dudes. I ain't gonna lie, I can appreciate some eye candy but holy smokes man I WANT TO SEE SOME REALLY COOL CARS GET AUCTIONED OFF! It's like SPEED/BJ done forgot who their core target audience is. Way, way, way, way and way too many commercials and way, way to much BS talking about who tweeted what and also too much focus and some collector who's selling his entire collection at the BJ auction. I want to see car after car after car after car get sold. Gimmie a good run-down about what appears to be correct/incorrect and the chassis cam and I'm purdy happy and stop it with the useless BS. C'MON MAN!
I feel better now. Oh yea, a DVR is your best friend.

Steve thanks for the pictures. It seems we count on you to be the B/J photographer for the Corvette Forum as well as looking foward to reading your "review" .

Great pics for sure. I nailed one of the Fantasy bids for a vette that sold for $135K. Unfortunately, I wasn't quick enough on the bid and some other person won the iPad2. I too want to make a trip there someday just to look over the auction and not buy. For those who have been there, can you get your fill of the auction in one day, two.....?
