Holy crap is this setup touchy! I mean if you're used to driving a stock C3 with stock steering the Steeroid setup will freak you out.

You twitch the wheel the slightest bit in either direction the car is going that direction and I mean right the **** now not later!! I love it!!

I still need to get the 4 wheel alignment done but man does it make a world of difference.

I agree. Isn't the response quick but stable?!

Probably the 3 changes I made that changed all prior experiences of the car were (in no particular order):
Steeroids-TKO600-hydroboost.

Thanks to CF, I found what I was looking for. Good on you and thanks for the reminder.

Yep I put in a TKO600 as well, love it also especially with the hydraulic clutch.

Instructions say ~3 hours. Figure longer cause they say it's best to install a new lower steering column bearing. It will also take some extra time if you need to notch the left engine mount for u-joint clearance. Figure an extra week if they send you one fine thread and one course thread heim end jamb nut like they did me.

Also consider replacing the upper control arm shafts with offset ones and having them machined to obtain the 4 or more degrees of positive caster they recommend. Probably not a bad idea to install a spreader bar while you're working in that area.

Thank you very much for this feedback. I also have it on my list but always wondered how much of a difference there really is so wasn't a real priority. Looks like it fell into the category of "why didn't I do this sooner." Thanks again.

All told it was closer to 6 to 7 hours just because I have never done anything like a steering rack before. I took my time tweaking it just right. I also put the Speed Direct spreader bar on at the same time.
