Went to the Rolex 24 at Daytona last weekend and had a blast. The attention that these old cars get is amazing. In a sea of Ferraris, Porsches, C5's, and C6's, I'm pretty sure my car was the most photographed at the Speedway other then the race cars of course!
Parked in the Grassroots Motorsports area, and everyone was really cool. Met lots of nice people and saw a lot of cool cars.
Taped the reaction of some of the crowd as I was leaving and got a nice little scare going through the tunnel! Check out the video:
Ahh come'on James....you know you layed at least a little rubber back there
Sorry I could not swing over there to meet you since we were so close. My co-pilot had to be back in Miami that night. Next time soon we will get our rides together.

Your Vette sounds great Nothing like the sweet sound of horsepower through side pipes. Anyone that doesn't see it coming turns around when they hear it. Love the sound echoing through the tunnel
James,
I wanted to go to the track so bad last weekend but could not get away. The weather was perfect!
Your car is more than just a C-3 it has always been one of my favorite restro-mods. The car looks and sounds awesome and commands a certain amount of respect.

I've tracked your build since the beginning when you brought it home on the trailer. As others have said, simply stunning and to be honest a great motivational build for the rest of us when comparing before and after pics.
I thought when you mentioned that you had a scare in the tunnel, you were going to show that you got it going sideways after given it a bit in the close quarters. Wasn't expecting to see one of the states/cities finest show up in the video clip. Again, excellent job!!!!
