Ok question about restoring my interior...really want to start on interior...door panels, t-top panels, carpet and dash all need replaced or repaired, seat leather isn't real bad but going to do that too...where do I start first? looking to talk to a local shop about the upholstery on seats, if I so that is it going to be hard to match panels say if I buy those from let's say Ecklers?
I am right in the middle of doing mine now. I got the panels and all the hardware from Willcox. I got the hardware today and am waiting on the panels (should be here in a day or two) I have gotten plenty of things from Willcox you can't beat their customer service and knowledge! Give them a call they can give you all the info you will need
Purchase an interior kit to include almost everything you need. Buying the kit usually ensures you get a good color match on everything. Order the assembly instruction manual (AIM) when you order the kit. Look over the interior assembly diagrams in the AIM (pages of them) before you start our project.
